Sponsors: Milwaukee Bicycle Co.

What can I say about everyone over at Ben's/Milwaukee Bicycle Co.?  One of the best bike shops in the world, staffed and run by some of the best bike people I've ever met.
Midwest Mayhem would not have been a success with out them.  Period.  They provided an essential hub for everybody to meet up at through out the weekend, and helped everybody put their bikes together.  Drew even helped pick people up at the airport!  Most importantly, Ben's provided a huge truck that everyone was able to put their bikes in and bring them to the competition.  Truly, we cannot express how thankful we are to have these guys on board again.  Well, I'm almost on the verge of tears describing how awesome everything about Ben's/Milwaukee Bicycle company is, I better wrap this up.  Be sure to check this place out when you come to MWM, and if you can't make it check them out online at
Earl and Drew run an awesome blog that has some good original content and updates on whats new at Ben's/Milwaukee Bike Co.

We Got Interviewed

Our good friend Vinny over at unknown bike co. interviewed us about the past, present and future of MWM.  Kris and Antonyo broke edge for the interview, that's why their answers are so weird.

New Sponsor: WRAHW

Torey has been down with Midwest Mayhem since the beginning.  He is one of the big reasons last year was such a success and went down the way it did.  When Antonyo, Kris and myself heard that Torey was flying in for the event last year we knew we had to get our shit together and put on something sick.  He runs one of the best blogs in the scene with tons of original content, puts out some rad product, and the WRAHW fam is the nastiest group of riders out there.  On top of all that, he's just a straight up cool dude.

New Sponsor: Fyxation

Happy to have Fyxation on again as a sponsor.  They have come out with a ton of new products since last MWM, The new Mesa pedals are especially sick!

New Sponsor: All City

All City helped us out big time last year, and are helping us out this year too!  Their new products have been looking reeeeeal nice.
The Def Wish (above) and the Air Wolf looks way nice.  Their non-trick stuff is top notch as well.  I've been trying real hard not to build up a Nature Boy!  Stoked to have Jeff and everyone at All City on as a Sponsor again this year.

New Sponsor: Thunderkill

Thunderkill is helping us out a ton this MWM.  Not only are they sponsoring the event, they are helping us out by putting together a video.  The video should give us an inside look at Thunderkill, and we are excited to see it!  In addition to all of that they are dropping their summer line soon, and some hardgoods from what I hear.
Stoked to see such a solid company evolving, and definitely stoked to have them on board for MWM.

New Sponsor: BreakBrake17

BreakBrake17 is in as a Sponsor!  The guys over at BreakBrake17 are super awesome and have been putting out some awesome product recently.  Antonyo has been riding their bars for almost a year now and loves them.  I can't wait to check out these frames!

Travel Information

Unfortunately this year we will not be able to give everybody a ride from the airport and a free place stay, some people will have to take the bus/ride/cab and book hotel rooms (if you have stayed with us before, contact us and we might have room for you).  Sorry, we would love to be able to but we just don’t have the room this year.  All the events will be held in the city and within biking distance of each other, so transportation in the city won’t be a problem.

Getting from the airport into the city:  There are a couple of options.
-Cab: Just grab one outside the airport.  I’d guess it’ll cost you ~$25
-Go Shuttle: usually costs ~$15
-Bus: real cheap
-Ride: Free, and not that far of a ride.  You’ll have to assemble your bike at the airport though

Hotels:  It looks like there are plenty of places to stay in the city for under a hundred bucks a room (just search ‘hotels Milwaukee’ in Google) and just split the cost with whoever stays in your room.

Here is a nice little Google maps thing Kevin Sparrow put up for last year:

Sponsors: FastPace Zine

We are real excited to have FastPace Zine again as a sponsor this year.  2011 is going to be a big year for them, they are going to be legitimately printed this year, which is waaaaaaay awesome.  Glad to see good people getting what they deserve.  Plus they've got Rick "the most negative guy in FGFS" Anderson on blogging duties, can't go wrong there.

Sponsors: Mishka

Mishka Clothing is now on board as a sponsor for MWM 2011!

They were one of the original sponsors and came through huge with some of the best prizes last year.  Mishka does a ton with the cycling community, whether it is sponsoring alleycats or riders, like their Death Adders Riding Team (D.A.R.T.).  The put out dope designs year after year, season after season, so check out their site.

Sponsors: Leader

Leader Bikes is once again on board for Midwest Mayhem.
Leader was a huge help last year, and one of the main reasons last year was such a success.  Since then Leader has become an even bigger part of the fixed gear freestyle scene, and they have some great things coming up for 2011.

Sponsors: Cultur

Cultur has been supporting the scene for a few years now, even though Cultur isn't even a year old.  Phil and Kyle have been doing all sorts of stuff behind the scenes since the beginning.  They are coming through big this year, sponsoring some awesome riders and events, and I hear even bigger things are in the works for next year.  Glad to have to Cultur on board for MWM this year.

Sponsors: Prolly Is Not Probably

Professional Blogger John "Prolly" Watson has been with us from the beginning.  He was a huge help last year and its great to have him on board again this year.  I'm sure most of you already check his blog already, but if not you should:
